Dina Awad is an associate attorney at Aronova & Associates whose practice is focused on personal injury cases. She creates an environment of open communication with her clients as she helps them navigate their claims, ensuring they understand every step of the legal process.
A graduate of Hofstra University’s six-year Legal Education Accelerated Program, Dina earned an undergraduate degree in Psychology, with minors in English and Legal Studies in Business, in addition to a law degree. Her combined psychology and legal background enhances Dina’s ability to establish strong connections with her clients, leverage negotiations with opposing counsel, and effectively advocate for her clients in court.
Dina litigated her first personal injury lawsuit as a student through Hofstra Law’s Law Reform Advocacy Clinic. She was part of a team that brought a federal lawsuit against the New York City Police Department on behalf of an indigent client over police misconduct claims. The efforts of Dina and her peers resulted in a major victory—and vindication—for their client. This rewarding experience made Dina fall in love with personal injury law. While at Hofstra Law, Dina also earned a Gold Public Service Award for completing over 750 hours of unpaid public service.
Prior to joining Aronova & Associates, Dina worked for no-fault insurance defense and bodily injury defense firms. These experiences give her tremendous insight into the inner workings of defense practitioners, allowing her to anticipate their legal strategies and better litigate her client’s claims. She is a member of the Nassau County Bar Association.
