Evangelos Dimitrakakis is an Associate Attorney at Aronova & Associates who handles all aspects of workers’ compensation claims including representing clients at hearings, taking deposition testimony of doctors and obtaining maximum compensation for injured workers. In addition, Evangelos is in charge of the Disability Pension Department. Evangelos represents workers of the City of New York before the New York City Employees Retirement System including ¾ applications for Corrections Officers.
Evangelos is a frequent guest at union membership meetings, providing training sessions to members on workers’ rights and safety advocacy.
Evangelos graduated from Stony Brook University in 2015 with a B.A. in Economics. He then went on to earn his J.D. from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in 2018, where he was named a Cardozo Scholar and awarded a full academic scholarship.
Prior to joining Aronova & Associates, Evangelos worked for a mid-sized law firm that represented the interests of property owners and doctors in general liability and medical malpractice matters. While there, he gained valuable insight into the strategies and practices of insurance defense firms.
