- Mr. Neuwirth proceeds from the assumption that clients appreciate candor and thoroughness, and that they need–and deserve–to make informed decisions about their cases. This thinking underlies his approach to counseling clients on the probable outcome in a matter, as well as the best and worst case scenarios. He knows of no greater professional pleasure than when his clients prevail due to his advocacy.
- His job as a lawyer is to make sure that insurance companies and other entities play by the rules and treat his clients fairly. Early in his career, Mr. Neuwirth was affiliated with a law firm that represented insurance companies.
- This experience allowed for a natural transition to his current role of representing businesses and individuals with claims against insurers.
Background
Mr. Neuwirth has successfully argued cases before both the trial and appellate courts in New York, resulting in decisions that have been cited and followed in many other cases to support the firm’s clients’ positions. He has also written articles in the New York Law Journal and lectured attorneys in continuing legal education seminars on insurance industry practices and procedures in order to educate practitioners on legal issues that affect the firm’s clients.
Mr. Neuwirth is an active member of the Queens County Bar Association, has volunteered as a small claims arbitrator in the local courts, and has served as a presiding judge in high school and law school mock trial and moot court competitions.
